Job Description:

DESI has been retained by NYC DDC to provide Special Inspection Services for various projects in NYC and is planning to hire 5 Construction Inspectors . The successful Construction Engineers/Inspectors should meet with the following requirements: proactive, solution-oriented, and certified with a minimum 0 to 5 years of experience in one or more of the following disciplines to inspect concrete, rebar, steel bolting, welding. Required to possess ACI, ICC, AWS, NICET, ASHTO, and any DOT, DOB certifications:

Requirements: • Degree in Engineering, sciences or construction • Must possess at least one International Code Council (ICC) certification in one of the following Special Inspection categories: Reinforced Concrete, Soils, Masonry, Spray Applied Fireproofing, Steel bolting/welding. American Concrete Institute (ACI) certificate • Must possess a valid Driver's License and have a vehicle to travel

Please document the certifications you currently have, or have had experience with, when applying for this position including: ACI, ICC, CWI, EIT, P.E., NICET, OSHA, and/or any other relevant certifications.
